As an occupational therapist, Julia enjoys supporting children and young people to develop confidence, independence and skills that make everyday activities easier and more enjoyable. She has a particular passion for sensory integration and is looking forward to starting her MSc in Sensory Integration in September 2026. Julia feels seeing children develop their skills, overcome challenges and achieve their goals is one of the most rewarding parts of being an OT.
Julia also brings over 15 years of NHS experience from a variety of clinical and administrative roles across community, primary care and hospital settings, including previous experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Away from work, Julia enjoys spending time with her three children, whether watching her son play football, enjoying drama and theatre, or going shopping. She also loves going on long walks with her pet dogs.
