Every day in the life of an occupational therapist is different, which is one of the things I love most about my role and what keeps each day exciting.
From working with children to achieve gross motor goals, such as improving balance and coordination, to supporting school staff in implementing sensory strategies that can be used effectively with children each day, my role is all about helping young people develop the skills they need to succeed.
Alongside delivering therapy sessions, I also support the Occupational Therapist with a range of behind-the-scenes tasks, including scoring assessment reports, preparing resources, and assisting with documentation.
These responsibilities help ensure that assessments, reports, and therapy programmes are completed efficiently and accurately.
